Lynch Advanced Bodyworks was founded by Kevin R. Lynch. He has had an intuition to heal and therapeutically help others since childhood. He made his first massage menu of services when he was 10yrs old. He has continued on that path for most of his life, learning and self teaching, eventually attending massage therapy school. Kevin is a licensed massage therapist by the state medical board of Ohio since 2004 and an advanced Thai massage therapist through the Shivagakomarpaj lineage of the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He also has continuing education in trigger point therapy, myofacsial release, and reflexology. Kevin is a member of the Association of Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
In 2014 Kevin was certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider. For the last 8 years Kevin has studied and pursued the ancient art form of Thai massage, including the highest levels of training and time spent in Thailand studying the culture of the people and spiritual traditions. He has also had the honor of studying and learning the history of Asian medicine and Thai medicine theory with Dr. C.Pierce Salguero, PhD. In 2012, while on a trip in Thailand, Kevin was introduced to the SVG school of Thai massage training where he was ceremonially welcomed into their family of Thai massage practitioners, eventually earning his Master level advanced certification with SVG and Master Parawat Poungpiam.
Kevin has also been certified in Tok Sen by Master Boonchu of Hang Dong school of Thai massage, two levels of Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage) and Herbal Compress Massage by Ong’s School of Thai massage. In addition, he has successfully completed a course in Flying Massage in Germany instructed by Tobias Frank.
In 20+ years of providing high quality bodywork Kevin has had the opportunity to work with professional and olympic athletes, Broadway musicals, MLB umpires, and currently works with The Cleveland Orchestra, a relationship that has been forged over the last 10 years. Kevin has taught his Level 1 & 2 Thai massage course in the USA, Germany and Switzerland. He has accumulated over 13k hours of hands on experience.
Since approaching bodywork with education in Thai massage he has been able to provide his clients with profound healing on many levels. He believes “Thai massage can have a positive effect on all the layers of self, including the physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.” Kevin currently keeps a private and referral based private practice with a diversity of clients, as well as teaches advanced bodywork techniques and Basic Traditional Thai massage courses nationally and internationally. He has a home in Chiang Mai, Thailand where he spends 3-4 months of the year keeping up to date on his Thai massage practices and the ever-changing landscape of the country.
